coproducer — Terms of Service
1. Who we are, and what this is
coproducer is a browser music-production studio operated by HyperIQ Consulting Pty Ltd (trading as coproducer.pro), an Australian company — "we", "us". By creating an account or using coproducer.pro you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the studio. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You must be at least 16, or have a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Your music is yours
Everything you make in coproducer — songs, exported audio, stems, MIDI — belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your work and we don't use your music or your prompts to train AI models. We only handle your content as needed to run the service you asked for (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Your responsibilities with samples
coproducer can analyse and sample audio files you provide. You are responsible for having the rights to any audio you bring in and to anything you release that contains it. Sampling a record you own a copy of does not by itself give you the right to publish or sell music containing that sample — clearance is your responsibility. Don't use the service to infringe anyone's rights.
5. Plans, payment and cancellation
The free plan and paid plans are described on the homepage. Paid subscriptions are billed by Stripe, renew automatically, and can be cancelled any time from "Manage subscription" — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices may change; we'll tell you before a change affects a renewal. Usage limits (song length, daily AI requests) are part of each plan and may be adjusted to keep the service healthy. The free plan may in future be supported by advertising; paid plans will stay ad-free.
6. The AI is a collaborator, not a guarantee
coproducer uses third-party AI models to act on your instructions. AI output can be wrong, odd, or not what you meant. We don't guarantee any particular musical result, and you're responsible for reviewing what you release.
7. Acceptable use
Don't attack, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service; don't resell it; don't use it to break the law. We can suspend or close accounts that do.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep coproducer up, but it's provided "as is" and we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service entirely we'll give paying subscribers reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused period.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Ending things
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On closure, your server-side account data is deleted; project files you saved to your own device stay with you.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we'll note it here and, for significant changes affecting paid plans, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions: hello@coproducer.pro.
